Well, I've finally did a lot of things today:
Now, I know it kinda sucks, it's dark an all. But I decided I'd start with something I was comfortable with drawing (dragons) and just work from there. It's only three layers in total (the black outline, the body coloring, and the background coloring), but still...I mean, for a first attempt, it's not that bad!
I hope to be updating daily, with either hand sketches or digital sketches.
For those who don't know: This is Trianna (tree-ANNE-ah), a black dragon (who I decided had bits of blue-purple on her, cause she really did need a twinge of color), and Karimo's mount. She's absolutely massive, intelligent, and will follow her rider anywhere (as he will for her). She's technically a bad guy, but not really.
- I started a blog
- I reinstalled my graphics tablet
- I learned how to USE my graphics tablet
- I learned how to use layers on PSP (Paint Shop Pro, my photoshop-variant of choice)
- I drew a picture entirely digitally!
Very exciting. So here it is:
