Coat of Arms Mania

I've been going a little bit crazy in designing Coats of Arms for my characters (well, the nobility or Pseudo-nobility at least), and I've begun with my Riders (and a couple dragonspawn themselves).
Firstly, to start at the top of the family tree (or would it be the bottom, the roots? Whatever), we have Xiren Vior, despicable, evil, usurping ex-Rider of Zaraine the Black. One of the few 1-sidedly evil characters I have, though still with an interesting backstory. I wanted a Coat that showed his evilness and taste for weapons, but still subtly tied in with his important Vior bloodline (relating to a certain magical energy in the form of a sword).

< --This is the progression, and it turned into something I really liked.

Next we have his son, Karimo. He wanted to be disassociated with his father, but wanted to portray his pride for his beautiful black mount, Trianna. Again, I wanted to tie in the Vior sword, but also wanted to show Karimo's eternal debt and relation to Tsumi the Keeper. So... ->
I really enjoy the end result. The sword is yielded, and the dragon's submissive posture represents both Rider's and Dragon's debt to Tsumi. It directly honors his beloved Black, while still showing his protection of the sword. My first attempt, dragonfire licking his three weapons of choice, was alright, but more violent a look than I was going for.

Travelling up or down the tree is Karimo's son, Ryu. Now, he would normally adopt his mother's Coat, but since there were unfortunate circumstances, he had to make his own. I haven't picked one yet, though I like the more earthy feel to these ones (and the feather association with Tori), but I need to keep that Vior sword in there somewhere.

Finally, I did the one they're all sort of centered around, which is the Varmier Coat-of-Arms (Tsumi/Julesque). This turned out REALLY well in theory and sort of well on the paper, but the scan didn't do it justice at all. I'll probably redo this one very soon.

Essentially, hers is a shield (symbolising her status as the Protector), but made into the shape of a dragon head wreathed in flame. It's quartered as well: The top left is a demon, the top right is a golden dragon, the bottom left is a crecent moon and the bottom right is a sun.
